32 year old female presented with RIF pain for 5 days. The pain is bearable, and she did not seek medical treatment. She also complained of low grade fever.
Ultrasound showed a 1.8cm hypoechoic lesion in right iliac fossa. The lesion has no definite wall. There is no vascularity detected on colour flow.
The lesion is consistent with an abscess – probably from a perforated appendix.
