The uterus is pear shape.
It measures about 2.5 cm thick, 5 cm wide and 7.5 cm in length.
The easiest way to remember is 2.5 x 5 x 7.5 cm.






























Endometrial thickness depends on menstrual cycle:
·         during menstruation: 2-4 mm
·         during early proliferative phase (day 6-14): 5-7 mm
·         during late proliferative phase: up to 11 mm
·         during secretory phase: 7-16 mm
The easiest way to remember is 3, 6, 12 & 15 mm.

After menopause, the endometrial thickness is typically <5mm.




The ovaries are ovoid in shape.
It measures approximately 1.0-2.0 cm x 1.5-3.0 cm x 1.5-3.0 cm (thickness x width x length)
The easiest way to remember is 1 x 2 x 3 cm.
